What Happened to Me Today
Clinical Consulting – MRI and Others – Consulting #13
I want to share with you what happened to me at my office today. The basis of this entire consultation is the MD Program from the start to finish. I want you to get an example of what results you can expect when you follow the plan.
I had a new patient referred into the office from one of the primary care physicians [PCP] that I work with, more so since I did the 8 hour CME [Continuing Medical Education] program. This was an auto case, I have shared with you that once you have a good relationship with the PCP, they will send you the types of cases that you want. This patient had been seen at one of the hospital ERs and the chief of neurosurgery [like many others] has private clinic that he works out of as well. So, the patient gets referred out of the ER to this doctors facility [which is the norm by the way] and he had surgery, pain management, PT and Chiropractic all in house. The patient shows up and they want to do a cervical MRI and have a follow up scheduled for him. He brings me in the discs with the MRI and his x-rays along with some advertisements from that other clinic [I asked, because I always like to snoop].
During the interview I asked him when he saw his primary and why he ended up here instead of going back to the neurosurgeons facility. He said “My doctor wanted me to see you so we can figure out the problem and he directed me to you not the other doctors”…Now THAT is a paradigm shift! My report will go out tomorrow morning via fax…
He is going to be a compliant patient for sure…I encourage to you stay the course and build relationships. This is what I do EVERY day for my offices…It really works.
